Tantric Hatha Yoga
In my yoga classes I invite you to practice slowly and mindful, allowing yourself to dive into a meditative inner journey.
We hold the Asanas (yoga positions) for longer periods to feel and reflect on the effects of each position on the physical and subtle level. Bringing awareness to our physical body system( cells, bones, structures, fluids) , we will also open up the access to the different energycenters, getting to know their qualities, bringing balance into our life.
To round off the practice we will practice basic techniques of Pranayama (breathing techniques) and Meditation. Yoga gives us the opportunity to turn inward to discover a place of peace and stillness. I invite you to find this place through a deeper connection to your body and to let this awareness permeate your life on and off the mat.
Connecting with oneself through dance, yoga, movement, touch and voice gives us a key to feel ourselves, to calm down, giving a sense of security and home.
The body is a palace where you can come back to at any moment. If you are more in your body, you are more in your center and it allows you to yield into life, relationships and in your heart space.
My wish is to accompany you, to find your personal key to this palace of infinite wonders, inspiring you to live in an embodied way.
The exploration sessions content various approaches, also depending on the needs of participants and proposal of each research session.
- partner exercise & bodywork
- researching qualities of touch
- discovering voice as a tool of expression & as another limb of the body
- exploration of senses & perception
- studying anatomical contents
- breathing, moving, improvising
Currently I am following the Somatic Movement Educator Program of Body-Mind Centering® which also influences my work.
VOICE & MOVEMENT
Experiencing your embodied Voice.
The Voice is a powerful and empowering tool for healing and expression. I work from a soft place: it is not about forcing the voice to do anything – the Voice already knows everything.
In these explorations I propose to detach the Voice from the idea of it serving just as a tool for speaking, to experience the voice as inscribed into the body, an inspiring element and a movement generating force. In these sessions you will be invited to entrust and surrender to the Voice as a place from which to embody strength and vulnerability, allowing the presence of intimacy. You will move, shake, perceive and resonate with spaces within and without. You inspire and get inspired.
Many of the tools I propose in these sessions are practices which I gratefully got to know through “The World is Sound”in Berlin, an artistic program for Voice and Performance run by Alessio Castellacci and Irena Tomazin.
This work can be done either via one to one sessions or collectively within a group.
