Osteopathy is an independent, manual form of medicine, developed by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still in the 19th century, today internationally recognised and scientifically accompanied. Diagnosis and treatment are carried out exclusively with the hands, in Germany on the basis of a five-year clinical training.

In treatment I listen with my hands, with attention and space. I follow the tissue and offer the body precise impulses, so that it can regulate itself again.

WHAT IS OSTEOPATHY?

Osteopathy is an independent, holistic form of medicine in which diagnosis and treatment are performed with the hands. It treats the causes of complaints and views the person as a whole in the context of their individual history, experiences and environment. The aim: to gently release tissue tension, restore mobility, and mobilise the body’s own self-healing and self-regulatory forces.

HOW A TREATMENT WORKS

First appointment

At the first appointment I take time for your history – physical and psychoemotional, as well as your current symptoms. This is followed by assessment and the first treatment.

The treatment itself

I work with my hands. Through manual assessment I sense tissue tensions, restrictions in mobility and vitality. With careful impulses I support the body in finding its way back to self-regulation.

How often?

Changes are often noticeable after 2–4 sessions. How many treatments are necessary we discuss together.

Please check with your health insurer about reimbursement before your appointment.
